Canon IJ Printer USB Port Setup

 Force-press the ON button on the printer’s operation panel to switch Off the Canon printer.

Load the installer CD into the external drive and check if the Setup program begins automatically.

Select Yes or Continue on the User Account dialog box and install the application software and manual by clicking on the Easy Install button.

Choose Install and select the Use Printer via USB option.

Click Next and continue with the installation by following the on-screen prompts.

Once the Printer Connection window displays on your PC, plug the USB cord between the Canon printer and the system.

After you attach the USB cord, turn On your Canon device. Raise the Feed Slot Cover and slide the paper guides to its edges.

Once you load the paper, move the paper width guide towards the paper. Lower the Feed Slot Cover and select the Execute option.

Go with the on-screen instructions and choose the Exit option to complete the installation.
