Apple AirPrint

Follow these guidelines to set up AirPrint on your Canon TR 4520.


Power on your Canon TR4520 printer and wait until it initializes.

Download the Canon PRINT application to your Apple device and install it.

Check whether the ready to connect message appears on your Canon TR 4520 printer. If it shows Copy 100% letter, press the Setup button on your Canon device (screwdriver & pliers icon). If it shows Wi-Fi with an x over it, press and hold the Menu/Wireless connect button for three seconds.

Go to your Apple device’s Wi-Fi list and choose Canon TR 4520 from the list.

Now, go to the CanonPRINT app. Open it and tap Agree or Don't Agree ( This does not affect the installation). Tap the + button on the PRINT application, tap Yes, and then choose the router from the Apple device’s PRINT application screen. Enter the password for the router and tap OK.

For a direct connection, tap the Direct connection button on the bottom of the Canon PRINT app screen. Tap Join.

Now, select a document on the Apple device and choose this Canon TR 4520 from the print device list to initiate printing. 


Google Cloud Print

You can follow the short guidelines mentioned below to set up Google Cloud Print on your Canon TR4520 printer.


Power on your Canon TR 4520 printer.

Touch the 'Setup' button on the control panel of the TR 4520 device.

Use the arrow keys to choose the Web service setup option and when it is highlighted, press OK.

Now, select the Connection Setup option using the arrow keys. Press OK. From there, choose GoogleCloudPrint and then select Register with service.

The confirmation message asking whether you want to register the Canon TR 4520 appears. Tap the Yes option and then press OK.

Choose the display language for Google Cloud Print using the arrow keys and press OK.

Now, load A4 sheets into the Canon TR4520 printer paper input tray and select OK.

The instructions for authentication will be printed. Select Yes and press OK. Perform the authentication procedure outlined on the authentication sheet. Press OK when the ‘Registration is complete’ message appears on the LCD.

Now, you can print from a computer or smart device using Google Cloud Print on the Canon TR 4520 device.

 Ensure that you have connected the Canon PIXMA TR4520 printer to a working source. If the printer is in the Off state, use the Power button for turning it On. Print the Network Settings report and confirm that the model of your Canon printer and the personal computer are connected over the same network. Make sure to keep the system and the printer in a location nearby your wireless access point. Restore the network communication by power cycling the wireless router and the Canon PIXMA TR4520 printer. Ascertain that you disable the Use Printer Offline mode if a Windows personal computer is used. Confirm whether the print job is sent to the appropriate printer.
