Open the Canon Pixma TS5120 printer box after cutting open the adhesive tape.

Take the Pixma TS 5120's power cable out of the box and set it aside.

Remove the Pixma print cartridges such as the PG 540 Black and CL 541 Color cartridges from the box.

Take the Pixma TS 5120 Getting Started document and sample media out of the box.

You will find the Pixma software CD in the box. Unpack the CD and insert it into your computer's CD drive.

Pull out the Pixma TS 5120 printer from the box and remove the packaging. Attach the Pixma TS 5120 power cable to the power port and the power outlet.

Tap the Pixma device's Power button on the front panel and wait until the device initializes.

The Canon logo appears on the Pixma printer's LCD and then the Language selection screen will be displayed. Choose the required language by using the arrow keys and press the OK button to confirm it.

The "Canon usage statistics' clause will be displayed. Tap the OK button. When the 'Do you agree to send printer information to Canon' is shown, highlight Agree and then tap OK.

Raise the Pixma device's top cover as shown on the LCD. Unpack the Pixma print cartridges, remove the orange tabs, and install them in the Pixma printer's cartridge slots. Wait until the Pixma print carriage comes to a stop before you install the print cartridges.

Lower the print cartridge locks to fix the print cartridges in place. Close the top cover.

Now, the printhead cleaning will be carried out automatically, and the corresponding message will be displayed on the Pixma device's LCD.

After the Pixma device's printhead cleaning is complete, highlight the OK option and press the OK button. Follow the guidelines mentioned in the user manual to complete setting up the wireless connection for the Pixma TS 5120 printer.
