 You should know the password of the network to which you are connecting your printer.

When connecting a Wi-Fi direct device to your printer, you can establish the same by just tapping on the list of devices displayed on the screen.

The SSID and other security settings will be changed automatically.

Ensure that your Canon printer is turned on and tap on the Setup icon from the Home screen of your printer.

Choose Settings  Device Settings  LAN Settings.

Now, tap on the Wireless Direct option. Press Wireless Direct to active mode by selecting On.

The confirmation screen will ask you if you can display the password on the screen.

Choose Yes or No, depending on your choice. A list of Wi-Fi Direct devices will be displayed.

Choose the one with which you want to connect your printer. Now, power On the wireless connection on your device.

Choose the printer series name from the list that is displayed with the prefix DIRECT.

Now, enter the password and start performing the printer function using your Canon Pixma TR4520 printer.
